Official Opening of our New Building

Friday 19th May saw the official opening of our new Middle School Building.

We were lucky enough to have His Excellency the Honourable Heiu Van Le AC (Governor of South Australia) here to unveil our plaque, & officially open the building.

His Excellency was one of many guests including Michael Pengilly (Member for Finniss), Richard Costi (Education Director, DECD) and other delegates from the MFS, CFS, Rotary Clubs of Victor Harbor & Encounter Bay who presented  VHR - 7  with  a  cheque,  Lions  Club,  Student Leaders, (past and present), Julie Kelly (former Deputy Principal VHR -7),  Fregon representatives who performed an Inma dance, Uncle Moogie who conducted the smoking ceremony as well as community members who have played a significant role and organised a fair, fundraising over $18,000.

To all who have had, in any way, some form of support for our school during and since our devastating fire, thank you.
